Memphis Slim

Memphis Slim (born John Len Chatman, 1915, Memphis) was an American blues pianist, singer and songwriter who became a leading figure of Chicago blues. He recorded enduring titles like Messin' Around, Mother Earth, and Every Day I Have the Blues, and settled in Paris in the 1960s, performing internationally until his death in 1988.
