After closing the 883 saga with Love/Life, which bore both the name Max Pezzali and 883, the only musical group composed of a single member dissolves, leaving, indeed, the only member. The first fruit of Max as a songwriter is Il mondo insieme a te, but the result of this "new course" is the same as the previous one. Ten tracks that, compared to the Italian mainstream in 2004, even reach more than a passing grade, but we are at two and a half stars when considering the product from a transgenerational perspective. The best tracks are "Fai come ti pare," an honest start, "Lo strano percorso" (which always woke me up from the radio of a neighbor in June 2004, so there are also emotional memories, between PlayStation and the European Championship, the one with Totti's spit...), "Eccoti," the title track, and "Me la caverò." Singles programmed and over-programmed on radio and TV. Of the other songs, the minor style of "La volta buona" is appreciable, the piano in "Essenziale," while "Siamo io e te" and "Con dentro me," and I’ll even add "Mai uguali," although it has a tad more, disappoint. They are carbon copies of previous things and will produce as many carbon copies, for example in Qualcosa di nuovo. In short, an "average Italian mainstream" product, with some infamy and certainly without praise. Max advertised it on Maurizio Costanzo, he who in 1990 brought flowers to Maria De Filippi... Max, before becoming a singer, was a florist just like Fabio Concato, the last author, of much higher stature, treated by the writer in this context. It's an album that works well as uncommitted background music, and perhaps some singles manage to be tied to personal memories. The next two will have less success but are slightly better.
