MASUA - DISTRATTO & INSOLENTE (Self-produced)

Not bad the transition from a pop with mainstream ambitions of Masua's past works to this album. A powerful record, let's say that out of 8 tracks, only one misses the mark (the ballad, but “de gustibus”). The other 7 tracks are all power pop hits with a punk attitude. Bass, guitar, drums. One, two, three and it's done. With great ease, Masua churns out tracks that have a strong appeal because, despite this approach, between the angry, the disillusioned, the distracted, and the insolent, his distinct knack for writing simple, direct pop songs that "pierce the screen," as one would say in television terms, always wins.

Summary by Bot

Masua's album 'Distratto & Insolente' marks a strong transition from mainstream pop to punk-tinged power pop. Out of eight tracks, seven are energetic and impactful with a raw yet catchy appeal. The songwriting remains simple and direct, resonating with emotional themes of anger and insolence. Only one ballad is less successful, but overall the album impresses with its powerful, straightforward sound.
