THE REVIEW

In July 2021, the reverend announces with a photo on Instagram that the next day a new single will be released, the title track of the new album coming out in September. I must admit that at first listen I was quite disappointed with the single: right from the start, with that little guitar that made my arms fall for the first 5 seconds and his voice that wasn't great, it had already made my high expectations vanish. Of course, I listened to the single again and when the chorus gets stuck in your head you can say it's a nice piece.
Regarding the album:

RED BLACK AND BLUE: the intro of the track is super cool, the song is very catchy and gives a positive hope for this new work.

WE ARE CHAOS the title track, in my opinion one of the worst of the CD, but not absolutely bad.

DON'T CHASE THE DEAD my favorite of the album, really after the release of the video I started to like it a lot. Beautiful atmosphere!!!!

PAINT YOU WITH MY LOVE: unexpected piece, romantic, elegant. Towards the end, Manson's voice explodes, in a positive sense, and does not disappoint!

HALF-WAY... if the previous one was unexpected, this one is even more so. Piano under Marilyn Manson's voice... fantastic!!!!

INFINITE DARKNESS: the most aggressive among all, Manson shows that his voice is still powerful.

PERFUME: I don't like it, to be honest the only part I remember is the first sentence.

KEEP MY HEAD TOGETHER: great song, among the best, plus with a great guitar solo which never hurts, indeed.

SOLVE COAGULA is worth it, it has great lyrics, absolutely worth listening to.

BROKEN NEEDLE makes you think of the end of the album "antichrist superstar" where it was "man that you fear" closing it. Here Manson sings under acoustic guitar and his voice is truly moving.

In my opinion, he is back in a big way, with an album that far surpasses all the works of the last 15 years.
