Manuel Göttsching (1952–2022) was a German guitarist, composer and electronic music pioneer, co‑founder of Ash Ra Tempel and later leader of Ashra. His work fused guitar loops with synthesizers; E2‑E4 and Inventions for Electric Guitar are landmark recordings that bridged kosmische, ambient and dance‑adjacent minimalism.
