Return to Forever is an American jazz fusion group formed in 1972 by pianist-keyboardist Chick Corea with bassist Stanley Clarke. An early lineup with Flora Purim, Airto Moreira and Joe Farrell leaned Latin-jazz; a later electric lineup with Lenny White and guitarist Al Di Meola defined their rock-leaning fusion. Landmark albums include Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy, Where Have I Known You Before, No Mystery (Grammy-winning), and Romantic Warrior.
