Into the Moat is an American mathcore/technical metal band from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Founded by drummer Matthew Gossman, the group is known for complex, high-intensity compositions. Releases include the EP Means by Which the End Is Justified and the albums The Design (2005) and The Campaign (2009), the latter two via Metal Blade Records.
