Eric Clapton

He made quite a splash in the '60s with the Yardbirds and John Mayall first, then with Cream. In the '70s came the "decline": his career continued as a solid tradesman, without any particular flair.

Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton (born 30 March 1945) is an English guitarist, singer and songwriter, influential in blues and rock. He rose to prominence with the Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominos and has had a long solo career.
