Hoobastank

I'll be honest: some of their songs aren't even the worst thing I've ever had the misfortune to listen to. Nevertheless, if I think of a "pointless" band, I instinctively think of them. They took Make Yourself and Morning View by Incubus and decided to cannibalize them until the end of their days.

Hoobastank

Hoobastank is an American rock band formed in Agoura Hills, California, in 1994. They broke into the mainstream with the singles Crawling in the Dark and Running Away, and achieved global success with the 2004 hit The Reason. Their sound spans alternative rock, post‑grunge, and traces of their early nu‑metal period.
