I didn't experience their "golden period" (thankfully), and as a result, I feel indifferent towards them. Aside from one mediocre track, it doesn't seem to me that they've done anything to deserve the countless praises. There you go, I hate Wonderwall. I despise that shitty song on a visceral level.
