I love the aesthetics, style, and poetry of this brilliant filmmaker. Great films are plentiful: “Stranger than Paradise,” “Down by Law,” “Mystery Train,” “Night on Earth,” “Coffee and Cigarettes,” “Paterson,” although the highest masterpiece perhaps remains “Dead Man.” Special mention for the soundtracks, featuring Elvis, Tom Waits, Neil Young, and many others.
