Cyndi Lauper

Great artist. At the time, I remember she was labeled a "crazy" weirdo... in reality, she was a solid and imaginative artist. Certainly superior to Madonna in vocal and interpretative skills but inferior when it comes to ambition and, above all (alas), continuity. Anyway, both are, in my opinion, inferior to their severely underrated initiator and source of inspiration in terms of image, musical "madness," and eccentric look: Nina Hagen. Her only fault? She wasn't born in the U.S.A.
