But there he sang in English… And with a language that isn't yours… I don’t know if you’ve ever tried saying, for example, I love you to an American girl… It’s not the same as saying it in Italian. Well, now, as a solo artist, Max really exposes himself with songs in Italian. So the emotions come through more strongly. And Max is someone who knows how to express himself well, who doesn’t hold back on the nuances. An introspective piece that, musically speaking, tries to scratch with rock riffs and guitar solos. In short, the usual combination of introspective lyrics + folk acoustic disc doesn't quite apply here. The chemistry works pretty well. After all, let’s remember, Max is not new to this. He knows his stuff… Unfortunately, these days, there are few who really know their stuff. Best listened to with an "open heart."
