Blue Öyster Cult

A group that has made originality its trademark, capable of touching countless genres with class and mastery. Unfortunately, they're not well known in Italy compared to the usual 4 or 5 British bands, but BOC have nothing to envy to anyone; on the contrary. Personally, I prefer them to other iconic bands of the genre like Led Zeppelin or Deep Purple; I place them on the same level as Black Sabbath and Uriah Heep. However, they have something more, perhaps due to Bloom's esoteric tone, perhaps because of the sometimes Ossianic notes/chords/choruses. I adore all their albums, without exception, and I believe that their less appreciated works should be rediscovered, as I have unfortunately read many comments filled with prejudice. Those who know them from the first to the last song can never get tired of listening to them, and I am one of those.
