Undoubtedly, he was cool, had a voice that was certainly not bad, and at his age, he definitely had some remarkable talent (but please don't compare him to certain others for Christ's sake), yet he will always remain the flag bearer for angry, pimple-faced teenagers unnecessarily upset with the world, and with brains completely fried from cocaine. It's unfair not to acknowledge the enormous and practically vital contribution he made to Nirvana's discography (especially to Bleach), but don’t call him a guitar god just because he died young and played a left-handed Fender like some guy from Seattle. In short: an overrated genius, but still a genius, and a real jerk in terms of character and personality. And now I can also lower my DeRango, I've said my piece, and that's enough.
