Modern fusion is, by definition, them; it's a shame they have dissolved.
However, their sound lives on in other projects of the individual members.

Tribal Tech is an American jazz-fusion band formed in 1986, led by guitarist Scott Henderson and bassist Gary Willis, known for high-energy, technically skilled fusion blending jazz, blues and rock.
