New York Dolls

From the first listen, I’ve always loved these incredible dolls. They blended rock'n'roll, the "female" bands of the sixties, and a punk aggressiveness worthy of the Stooges. All of this is said to be the foundation of glam; I couldn't care less about glam or not glam, but they pump me up to the max.
