A band that sometimes, guiltfully, is forgotten. Rodgers and Kossoff are fantastic, the kid Fraser on bass and the impeccable Kirke on drums. Paul's voice tears at the soul and the other Paul's guitar is a sharp blade. Dry sound, basic without pretensions. Primordial hardrockblues! Heroin will end it all before any disputes arise.

Free were a British rock band formed in London in 1968 by Paul Rodgers, Paul Kossoff, Andy Fraser and Simon Kirke. Known for their blues-based hard rock and the 1970 hit All Right Now, they released classic albums including Fire and Water and disbanded in 1973.
