Among the many philosophers I studied during three years of Scientific High School, I can assert that this man (personal opinion, not that of an expert!) is the greatest philosopher of all time. Misunderstood like few others, he fascinated me so much, perhaps too much, with the theory of the Overman and, above all, the death of God. Brilliant. It’s a pity that his excessive intelligence was likely the cause of his mental illness that plagued him in the last 12 years of his life.

Friedrich Nietzsche

Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900) was a German philosopher and classical philologist known for aphoristic prose and radical critiques of morality and religion. His ideas, including the Übermensch, eternal recurrence, and the declaration that “God is dead,” shaped modern thought. He experienced a mental collapse in 1889 and died in 1900.
