I couldn't care less about the INXS—global pop stars—anyway they never impressed me like Hutchence, may he rest in peace. The INXS of the first three albums, still tied to the Australian New Wave, are always worth a listen. Especially for certain (beautiful) bass-drums interlocks, and a funk that wasn't plastic yet.
