Ennio Morricone

It makes no sense to compare him to Mozart or Beethoven; it's a completely different conception of music. The only comparisons that would hold (though they've never been made by anyone, by the way) would be with more modern composers or those who have ventured into his field, such as Prokofiev with Alexander Nevsky.
