Wavves is an American rock band from San Diego formed by Nathan Williams in 2008. The project evolved from blown‑out lo‑fi surf/garage to sharper, hook‑driven indie and pop‑punk, breaking through with King of the Beach and continuing with Afraid of Heights, V, You’re Welcome and Hideaway.
