Lucio Battisti

He left us an invaluable and unparalleled legacy (in light melodic music), spanning various genres and musical worlds. Never a fall from grace ("E' già" perhaps a unique misstep, but that's a different story), underestimated as a songbook for the masses, with Mogol's lyrics sometimes failing to do justice to the compositions. A figure with an authentic and innate talent for music.

Lucio Battisti

Lucio Battisti (1943–1998) was an Italian singer-songwriter and composer, celebrated for his collaborations first with lyricist Mogol and later with Pasquale Panella. His career spans 1960s pop classics to later experimental, electronic 'white' albums.
