Go straight past post-rock, then turn left towards free-folk. Keep going straight until the roundabout, take the third exit, and turn right at the traffic light. You can stop at the David Grubbs motel or head to the Jim O'Rourke bar to take a leak. Continuing down that road leads you to a junction: one way for Slint, the other for John Fahey.

Gastr del Sol is an American experimental/post-rock group from Chicago led by David Grubbs, with Jim O’Rourke as a key collaborator in the mid-’90s. Active from 1993 to 1998, the group released influential records on Drag City, including The Serpentine Similar, Crookt, Crackt, or Fly, Upgrade & Afterlife, Camoufleur, and the long-form composition The Harp Factory on Lake Street.
