Great French group that manages to blend electronics, dream pop, and shoegaze, with excellent results... until their latest work... they got caught up in a megalomania crisis that erased all the good they had done up until then. M83

M83 is a French electronic music project led by Anthony Gonzalez, formed in Antibes in 2001. Known for blending shoegaze textures, dream pop atmospheres, and synth-driven melodies, M83 broke through with Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts and achieved global recognition with Midnight City and the double album Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming. The project has also composed film soundtracks, including Oblivion and You and the Night.
