"The South Vietnamese would have preferred to be in the position of the South Koreans"? Of course, but the South Koreans didn't have someone like Ngo Dinh Diem in power, a criminal funded with Vatican money, responsible for mass killings of political opponents and Buddhist clergy, whose wife was shopping in Paris while thousands of Vietnamese were dying in prisons and extermination camps. I am appalled to read certain comments.
