They ended too soon, unfortunately, but Soup and the eponymous album in particular are two gems. A unique group in the early '90s alternative scene.

Blind Melon

Blind Melon are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1990. They broke through with the hit No Rain and the albums Blind Melon (1992) and Soup (1995). Frontman Shannon Hoon died in 1995; a posthumous collection, Nico, followed in 1996. The band later reunited and released For My Friends in 2008.
