Ghost

By far the best Japanese band of the last twenty years, and absolutely one of the very few Japanese acts capable of holding their own against (and teaching lessons to) many Western groups. Pure jaw-dropping.

Ghost

Ghost is a Japanese psychedelic folk/rock collective formed in Tokyo in 1984 by Masaki Batoh. Renowned for acid-folk textures, free-form experimentation, and ritual-like performances, the group released acclaimed albums on Drag City, including Hypnotic Underworld (2004) and In Stormy Nights (2007).
