Average White Band

Scottish funk and soul band formed in 1972, best known for the 1974 album AWB and the 1975 album Cut The Cake. The instrumental "Pick Up the Pieces" was a major hit. The group's classic lineup included Alan Gorrie, Onnie McIntyre, Hamish Stuart, Roger Ball, Malcolm "Molly" Duncan and drummer Robbie McIntosh; Steve Ferrone joined after McIntosh's death.
