Pippo Franco

In anticipation of the 2006 general elections, he runs as a candidate with the Center-Right for the Senate on the list of the Christian Democracy for the Autonomies, as the lead candidate in the Lazio constituency: despite the publicly declared support from Giulio Andreotti, his party only receives 0.6% in Lazio, and therefore he is not elected.
