Stalin

Seminal Japanese punk band formed in 1980 by Michiro Endo, featuring in its original lineup Atsushi Kaneko on guitar, Shintaro Sugiyama on bass, and Jun Inui on drums. They debuted the same year with the single "Dendou Kokeshi," followed shortly by the EP "Stalinism," and recorded 4 albums + 1 live until their disbandment in 1985, two years before Endo founded Video Stalin. Michiro Endo is still active in the music scene and regularly performs live as a solo artist.
