The best that the Japanese drone has to offer, the pros and cons are the same as for other groups from that area – FTB being the leader. The main difference is in the gender of one of the members, which makes them even cooler for much of the Western audience.

Boris is a Japanese experimental rock trio active since 1992, known for extreme volume, heavy distortion, and frequent stylistic shifts across drone, sludge/stoner, shoegaze, ambient, and noise, including collaborations with artists such as Sunn O))) and Merzbow.
