I wouldn't call him a myth or a god because I always take it slow with extravagant praise. Call me an ignorant heretic if you like, but I don't like "Imagine" one bit, neither musically (an unbearable mush) nor conceptually (a frankly pathetic anthem of hippy-communism). If he had directly set the "Manifesto" to music, it would have been more original.
