The most concrete example of a band criticized just because they are easy listening and sell... In reality, if we analyze them closely, we can notice not only the finesse of their melodies but also how their style is unique. They have a way of combining sounds and melodies that makes them instantly recognizable; they are not clones of anyone, they are simply Coldplay.

Coldplay

Coldplay are a British rock band formed in London in 1996. The core members are Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. They are known for melodic, arena-scaled pop-rock and for alternating mainstream anthems with occasional experimental departures.
