Madonna

Despite not being my favorite, she deserves recognition for a stage presence that almost no other pop star has managed to match and for a rather interesting phase of her career from the '90s onward (especially "Erotica" and "Ray of Light," but "American Life" and "Confessions..." aren't bad either). It's a pity about a production in the '80s that has aged really poorly (and taken on its own, without the character Madonna to support it, isn't much different from what pretty much anyone was offering at the time) and especially for the fact that she has never learned to use her beautiful voice properly.
