He embarrassed himself singing about pigeons and loves on the rooftops, but some songs are just simple Italian pop tunes. I think he's better than the likes of Carta and Scanu and other overly calculated characters. At least he writes his own nonsense...

Giuseppe Povia is an Italian singer-songwriter from Milan. He broke through with the hit “I bambini fanno ooh” and won the Sanremo Music Festival in 2006 with “Vorrei avere il becco.” In later years he turned to self-produced, socio-political concept albums such as “Nuovo Contrordine Mondiale” and “Imperfetto.”
