Eric Clapton

The minimum requirement to understand Clapton as a solo artist is having listened to (and grasped) Alexis Korner's breakthrough with his "A New Generation Of Blues" from 1968. A requirement that, judging by appearances, seems to be absent in everyone here.

Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton (born 30 March 1945) is an English guitarist, singer and songwriter, influential in blues and rock. He rose to prominence with the Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominos and has had a long solo career.
