With Asylum, they achieve a balance that is hard to match: a refined and elegant progressive music destined for the indifference of most. Truly a shame.

Cressida

Cressida were an English progressive rock band formed in 1968. They released two albums on Vertigo—Cressida (1970) and Asylum (1971)—blending melodic, symphonic arrangements with a gentle, melancholic tone. The group disbanded shortly after their second album.
