Truly great is only "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn," the only album with Barrett (even though, to be honest, that year much more memorable records were released). The rest is harmless music that my father listened to in the car when, as a child, we drove along the Adriatic in the summer, or nice stuff to listen to only at 16 when smoking joints at school during a sit-in and not yet knowing Grateful Dead, Gong, Holy Modal Rounders...

Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd formed in London in 1965 and became a defining force in psychedelic and progressive rock. The classic lineage spans Syd Barrett’s founding vision, Roger Waters’ conceptual leadership, Richard Wright’s harmonic textures, Nick Mason’s pulse, and David Gilmour’s arrival in 1968, shaping their signature sound.
