Simply Red

One of the most eclectic bands in the music biz, better defined as a "front-man band," centered entirely around the charismatic figure of Mick Hucknall. Some tracks (Fairground, It's Only Love, If You Don't Know Me By Now, Holding Back The Years, Sunrise...) are very catchy, but the albums as a whole unfortunately don't always follow the same trend, often getting lost in whiny and depressing melodies.

Simply Red

Simply Red are a British soul/pop group formed in Manchester in 1985, led by singer Mick Hucknall. They broke through with Holding Back the Years and reached massive European success with A New Flame and Stars, amid frequent lineup changes and Hucknall’s firm creative control.
