Wes Craven

A director who is too inconsistent. He goes from excellent films like "Nightmare," "The Hills Have Eyes," "Scream," and "The Serpent and the Rainbow" to mediocre or unwatchable films like "Summer of Fear" and "Scream 2-3." However, he has given us a few gems.

Wesley Earl Craven (1939–2015) was an American film director, screenwriter, and producer, best known for landmark horror films including The Last House on the Left, A Nightmare On Elm Street and Scream.
