Matt Groening

The vote is for what he has done lately: the Simpsons movie was awful and the latest series seem to cater to a less "sophisticated" brand of comedy that is more immediate, almost absurd like Family Guy, but without managing to make an impact unlike the latter, which continue to hold their heads high.

Matt Groening is an American cartoonist, writer, and producer, creator of The Simpsons, Futurama, and Disenchantment. He began with the comic strip Life in Hell in 1977 and became a defining voice of satirical animation.
