She has spent thirty years flat as an outsider Magda Arjuna Davitt; amidst serious personal issues and controversies fueled by the press, she has - in the meantime - produced memorable pieces with an unforgettable and sometimes dark tone.

Her first album, The Lion And The Cobra, already presented from the cover the girl with the shaved head and the sad look.

Domestic difficulties and emotional deficiencies have inflicted an evident suffering in her, manifested by continuous psychological breakdowns.

At the height of success, she declared during a television interview that she would have preferred to become a priest rather than a superstar; Some time later, they seriously allowed her to become one, and despite her professed devotion to her God, she often criticizes the clerical institution and its "weaknesses."

So this year Sinéad cannot stand being Sinéad anymore. She wants to leave behind her suicidal instincts and her past by changing her name and perspective.

David Holmes produces this single/demo and also the album No Mud No Lotus which will be released in 2019.

The lyrics are clearly a declaration of intent; The woman sings about not being evil incarnate and references to her troubled relationship with her deceased mother also arise.

It happens that one needs to change skin to feel good about oneself, and I honestly believe that through the ups and downs of her career, Magda has always put so much, perhaps too much, into her music. The lioness deserves a listen.
