Described in a DeBaser review (2010-12-31) as a new wave revivalist group; debut single 'Suburbia' mixes techno, shoegaze and italo disco and features a vocoder.

A DeBaser review (2010) gives Made's debut single "Suburbia" a mixed notice: derivative of 1980s new wave but occasionally foot-tapping. The reviewer notes a collage of influences (techno, shoegaze, italo disco) and finds ideas present but unevenly focused.

For:Fans of new wave revival, italo disco and indie synth-driven music

The track in question is nothing special and gathers the most disparate influences, from techno to shoegaze, through italo disco, up to the most commercial new wave that emerged in the '80s, singing with a vocoder, banal keyboard chords, vaguely danceable rhythm, and a pseudo 'disco music' bass... the result is a somewhat boring track but one that still makes you tap your foot (even if only for the first minute).
