THE REVIEW

M83: a French band not very well known.

Fans of My Bloody Valentine appreciate them because they see them as the electronic music translation of their idols' sound. There's some truth to this: just listen to "Noise" but also all the other tracks on the collection demonstrate a search for dreamy, ethereal, and suspended atmospheres.
The effect is almost indescribable: an electronic sound that is transcendent and uplifting at the same time (see for example "America"), in any case, incredibly original.

Dead cities... is one of those albums that, regardless of your final judgment, must absolutely be listened to... and spread.
