THE REVIEW

The Finnish group is back in great form after the excellent "The Monsterican Dream" and their victory at the Eurofestival with this full-length album (the third in their career). "The Arockalypse" opens playfully with the unique introduction "SCG3 Special Report" which nonetheless highlights the band's cunning spirit.

The next track "Bringing Back The Balls To Rock" is characterized by the classic and striking voice of Mr. Lordi, accompanied in the chorus by the voices of the other members, powerful riffs accompany the song throughout its entire duration.

Also excellent is the track "It Snows In Hell" made in collaboration with Bruce Kulick, as well as the exceptional "They Only Come Out at Night" featuring Udo Dirkschneider.

Noteworthy is also the exceptional "The Chainsaw Buffet" featuring Jay Jay French

Additionally, the album includes the outstanding "Hard Rock Hallelujah" winner of the Eurofestival. The album concludes with the exhilarating "Supermonstars" which confirms the excellent condition of the band.

The album overall is easy to listen to and enjoyable even for those who aren't particularly fans of the genre, those who are already familiar with the quintet from Finland will simply love this truly exceptional album, if it weren't for some less striking tracks ("Good To Be Bad", "The Deadite Girls Gone Wild") we could have dared to call it a masterpiece. From my point of view, the album is clearly superior to "Get Heavy" and their debut "The Monsterican Dream"

"The Lordi are a terrifying Finnish band that emerged... they perform and give interviews only wearing hideous monstrous masks and gothic costumes."

"The Arockalypse… is still 'fascinating,' with choirs veiled in Epic, and guitar riffs that effectively bring back previous rock music yet highlight influences of 'modern Metal.'"

Bringing Back The Balls to Rock is an almost heavy track with some harder points in the chorus.

'HARD ROCK HALLELUJAH' is legendary and one of the best moments in the album.
