The Lingalad are a historic Lombard group dedicated to folk-rock music always inspired by an imagery deeply rooted in the world of nature. Perhaps some, upon reading the name Lingalad, will remember their 2003 debut "Voices from Middle-earth" dedicated to the universe of Tolkien and his mighty trilogy "The Lord of the Rings". That album also granted them international fame: they were indeed invited to the world premiere of the film "The Lord of the Rings" by Peter Jackson in Canada, in addition to receiving various accolades, including one from Priscilla Tolkien, daughter of the great writer. Compared to those days, the Lingalad have changed their face: there is no longer any trace of storytelling and fantasy imagery in their lyrics which, in the new work "Harmonic Boundaries" just released by Lizard Records, draw inspiration from the novels of the singer Giuseppe Festa, who in the meantime has become a writer and also a television personality for Rai2.

As mentioned, the novels "Il passaggio dell’orso" and "L’ombra del gattopardo" by Giuseppe Festa form the basis of the lyrics for this album. Songs like the opening "Sogni d’oblio", "Orante Della Morte" which talks about a poacher, the compelling "Occhi d’ambra" - also released as a single - transport us into a mythical, eternal dimension that is simultaneously close. "L’ombra del gattopardo" is a fine instrumental that showcases the band's great cohesion. The album is a journey into unspoiled landscapes that have retained a timeless purity as sung in "La grande orsa," "La terra di Aku," and "Il passaggio dell’orso." The closure is entrusted to the instrumental reprise of the beautiful "Orante Della Morte."
The Lingalad have the rare ability to evoke the enchantment and the "magic" of nature and, in this sense, have always remained true to themselves. "Harmonic Boundaries" confirms how the spirit and
