In the other review, I claimed that "Lars Frederiksen And The Bastards" was superior to this album, "Viking".

Well, after listening to it again, I had to change my mind... I don't know... Probably neither is better than the other, but this one is definitely more varied and with better production than its predecessor.

I say varied because, well, purely Reggae tracks like "The Viking" are not found in "LFATB", or purely Horror tracks like "Maggots" and "Mainlining Murder", one of their best ever.

As in the previous work, there are covers, here just one, "For You" by Anti-Nowhere League, and the Street/Hardcore blasts like "Bastards", "Skins, Punk & Drunx", "Streetwise Professor", "Fight", "The Kids Are Quiet Under The Sharmon Palms".

Additionally, in the album we find an old Rancid demo, "Do You Want To Dance With Me", here renamed "Little Rude Girl", and two collaborations, namely "Switchblade", composed together with Skinhead Rob and the almost ballad "My Life To Live" sung and played together with the inseparable friend Tim Armstrong, already the producer of the previous album.

In the UK version of this album, there is the bonus track "Road To Hell".

Until next time     .!..!
