Steve Nardini, his name corresponds to a career as long as it is multifaceted, which saw him as a protagonist in projects such as the Jitterbugs and the Railway Humanoids, treading environments ranging from hard punk to new wave, but with a constant electronic component.

After a series of self-produced works with the help of his faithful synth and a drum machine, the time comes for La Monte, a new band formed with Teho Teardo (bass) and Mirco Muner (guitar and samples).

The key expression of "Here Comes The Skinny Roller" always remains a nervous punk rock that often and willingly flows into electronic and occasionally psychedelic sounds. Nevertheless, it is peculiar the importance given to a direct and expressive melody because "it's always about songs we are talking" quoting the words of the band. However, the compositions do not lack the right dose of aggressiveness that recalls their post-punk roots, with fast rhythms and guitars, but wrapped in the atmospheric magic branded by Nardini.

An excellent work born thanks to the right combination of expressive systematicity and moments of pure delirium. Unmissable.
