Third EP for Knife Party (and third year of career) and, summing up, we can say it: the test is passed.
The opening of "Power Glove" tries to warm the spirits, but epic beginning aside, it fades into a gray pool of predictability; fortunately, it’s the only unfortunate episode of "Haunted House".

"LRAD" and "EDM Death Machine" manage to bring what Knife Party had been lacking so far, namely the desire to "dare": if both sound unmistakably "KP", the first surprises the listener* with an "elegant" drop of only low tones while the second indulges in the luxury of experimenting with an unusual song form**. In this sense, looking to the past, it is also possible to trace a noticeable evolution in the duo's offering which has now definitively put aside the "rowdy and vulgar dubstep" - which whether you like it or not ended up identifying their sound - to seek out more varied and innovative stylistic solutions.

Summing up maybe in the end of the day of the three this is the least danceable and least "trendy" album - there is no "Internet Friends" (although there is a VIP version of it) nor a "Bonfire" - but certainly the most solid and the one that leaves better hopes for the future.

Hoping that we won't have to wait another year for just four (three) tracks.
